Got my car aligned and an oil change for a decent price. Only recommendation I'd have for them is to clean up the waiting area, there were dead bugs everywhere and the seats were gross. Oh, and I made the mistake of using the bathroom here, I'd recommend not making that mistake, LOL!

My husband and I have both been going to Pit Stop, both locations in Cary for all our car needs since we moved here 5-years-ago. I have always been, quite shockingly, surprised with how quickly and efficiently they do their work. I say that because all other times I have gone to take my car in, I would not call those events "timely". Tim is honest and easy to talk to. The service is great and their prices are competitive. I'd rather my mechanic be a local guy that I can talk to, than a huge dealership where I have to worry about whether or not they bothered to put all the bolts back when they were rushing my car out of there. Never been so pleased with a car care experience. Within minutes of me arriving, they already had the problem diagnosed and had a quote prepared. They took me out in the shop and showed me exactly what needed to be done, then the owner offered to give me a ride back to my house so I wouldn't have to get an Uber. I'll never go anywhere else. This is a small to medium sized auto shop that does general repairs. I have had suspension work, brakes and oil changes done here all without any problem at all. Judging by the car park they keep very busy and seem to have a steady clientele. Friendly and efficient front office and sound technical work keeps me coming back to this business.

Pit Stop is great, I have been going there for years. I also work with Tim. He has been taking care of my cars for about ten years or so. He is honest and fair with his prices. I do not take my car to any other location.

I thought I had a wiring problem with my passenger side window in my 2001 GT Convertable Mustang. I did a Google search, and found Pit Stop. I called them in the morning on Thursday, and took it down to have them take a look in the late afternoon. Before I had a chance to take the keys out of the ignition (and before I knew who Tim was), he walked up to my car and started taking a look. He had to pull it into the shop to take a deeper look. Tim confirmed it was wiring. We started discussing when I could bring it back, and they started putting things back together. I decided I could just leave it and save everyone some time. My baby was fixed up ready to roll again by Friday afternoon! I drove her home with the top (and windows down). Too bad it was so darn cold to enjoy weekend! Don't believe the haters, this shop is 5 stars all the way down the line!

This is an excellent shop. I recently moved to the triangle from out of state, and needed to look for an honest and competent mechanic due to a leak in my car's exhaust.
